Mark G. Tauzier

Mark is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a graduate of Loyola University School of Law.  Following graduation, Mark practiced in New Orleans, Louisiana with Deutsch, Kerrigan & Stiles, LLP (“DKS”) with a focus on commercial litigation and professional liability.  After working with DKS for several years, Mark relocated to Tampa, Florida where he became a shareholder with one of the largest law firms in the country, Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin (“MDWCG”).

While in Florida, Mark was recognized on multiple occasions in Thomson Reuters’ list of “Rising Stars.”  The list, published in the Florida Super Lawyers magazine, recognizes the state’s best attorneys who are under 40 and who have practiced for 10 years or less.  Rankings are based on a survey of the state bar and independent research by Thompson Reuters.  No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are named to the list.  On multiple occasions, Mark was also recognized as a “Rising Star” by Tampa Bay Magazine in their annual top attorneys list.  Finally, Mark was recognized by Tampa Bay Business Journal’s list of Up and Comers in 2013.

After practicing in Tampa, Mark decided to return to his hometown to practice in Southeast Louisiana while continuing to litigate cases throughout the Florida panhandle and Central Florida.  He remains an active member of The Florida Bar and continues his aggressive trial practice in Florida.  Since arriving back in Louisiana, Mark has been recognized as a Louisiana Super Lawyer in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.

During his years with one of the nations’ largest defense litigation firms, Mark became an experienced trial attorney handling the most basic to complex cases.  Mark has served as lead trial counsel on a wide variety of cases while remaining directly involved in all aspects of litigation.  Mark has seen the benefits and drawbacks to working in a large law firm environment.  He has litigated cases on behalf of individuals and businesses involving disputes ranging from several thousand to millions of dollars.  With Yeager LaNasa Tauzier, LLC, he is able to provide efficient and prompt legal services to all clients in need, which is not always practical in the large law firm setting.

Mark has extensive experience in handling matters involving insurance coverage, insurance bad faith, personal injury, immigration, employment disputes, admiralty/maritime injury claims, consumer protection litigation and construction litigation.  Mark has aggressively litigated cases from the initial investigation stage through trial and appeal.  Mark previously represented some of the nation’s largest companies and insurance carriers.  He now represents individuals and small businesses with the same zealous advocacy.  That experience makes Mark uniquely able to ensure all cases are handled efficiently with a focus on each client’s individual goals.

With offices in Hammond, Louisiana and Metairie, Louisiana, Mark actively handles cases involving trucking accidents, motorcycle accidents, boating accidents and automobile accidents.  He also represents individuals and small businesses involved in insurance disputes against insurance companies.  Finally, Mark’s practice involves handling of construction disputes.
